PHILANTHROPIC ENDEAVOR
We at Spectrum believe that giving back is part of our on-going commitment to the community.
While there are numerous desirable and important charities out there, through our research and personal experiences we have chosen to provide a percentage of our annual profits to the Leeza Gibbons Memory Foundation and Leeza’s Place.
Leeza's Place is a potent source of information, strength and purpose. Nestled within many local communities, and expanding, Leeza's Place is a multifaceted reprieve, for both caregivers and those recently diagnosed with memory disorders. Leeza’s Place integrates educational programs, connective social activities, emotional support, and intergenerational programming designed to help you navigate through your community's continuum of care. Leeza's Place was designed to ensure that others experiencing the trauma that goes along with caring for loved ones losing their memory would have access to new, supportive settings created for the purpose of educating, empowering and energizing.
As the Baby Boomers continue to age and with the rise in those diagnosed with memory disorders we strongly believe this is an organization that is critical to maintain some sense of stability during the very long goodbye. Additionally, the “Sandwich Generation” will also begin to feel the effects of aging parents. The sandwich generation is defined as ‘an individual or pair of adults rearing a child or children while simultaneously supporting the needs of an elderly family member(s).
